The purpose of the Area 34 Web site is to let people know how to get in touch with Al-Anon/ Alateen Family Groups. As a service arm of Al-Anon, the web site adheres to all Al-Anon principles and Traditions at all times. As our Fourth Concept of Service suggests, its Web Coordinator (either appointed or elected) is a trusted servant responsible to the groups and committees served. A thoughtful and informed group conscience, composed of the Web Coordinator Committee, is responsible for the contents, policies, and procedures involved in creating and maintaining the Web site. Since the Area Web site is a public medium with potential for reaching the broadest possible audience, it, therefore, abides by the same anonymity safeguards that are used at the level of press, radio, TV and films. To preserve personal anonymity, full names are not given..
